Tigers walk alone through forests, their stripes blending into shadows, but solitude doesn’t mean indifference.

A mother tiger dedicates nearly two years to teaching her cubs everything they need to survive—how to hunt, where to find water, which boundaries to respect. She shares her territory with them, bringing down prey and stepping back so they can learn to feed themselves. When they’re ready, she encourages them to leave, not out of cruelty, but because independence is survival.

Tigers mark their territories not just to keep others out, but to avoid unnecessary conflict—a boundary is a form of respect.

Sometimes the greatest act of love is teaching someone they don’t need you anymore, and trusting they’ll carry what you taught them into the world.
