Robins are bold, territorial, and fiercely devoted parents.

Males sing loudly to establish their territory and attract mates, and once paired, both parents work together to build the nest, incubate the eggs, and feed the chicks.

Robins can raise multiple broods in a single season, and they’re attentive to each one, bringing worms and insects to the nest dozens of times a day.

They’re also one of the first birds to sing at dawn, their calls marking the beginning of the day.

Robins are adaptable, thriving in forests, gardens, and cities, and they’re a sign of spring, of renewal, of life continuing.

You don’t have to be large or rare to be cherished. Showing up, singing your song, is enough to be loved.
