And What We Can Learn From Them

Rhinoceroses are massive, armored herbivores with thick skin and powerful horns, but despite their tough exterior, they’re gentle grazers who spend most of their time eating, wallowing in mud, and resting.

Mothers are deeply devoted to their calves, staying with them for years and fiercely defending them from any threat.

Rhinos are also critically endangered, their populations decimated by poaching driven by demand for their horns. They’ve survived for millions of years, but they can’t survive greed and apathy.

Being strong doesn’t make you invincible. Even the toughest among us need protection, need advocacy, need others to care enough to fight.
